Komedia
Located just around the corner from The Grapevine North Laine, Komedia is an independently
owned theatre that's home to the acclaimed basement cabaret bar, which plays
host to a range of hugely popular regular events including Krater, Treason
Show and Voodoo Vaudeville, as well as a vibrant world, acoustic, jazz and
folk music programme, chanson and bizarre and wonderful cabaret happenings.
In May 2003, Komedia completed the re-development of its first floor theatre
and bar into a stylish, flexible theatre and cabaret space, which will welcome
the world's most acclaimed small to mid-scale touring theatre companies,
as well as headline comedians and cabaret performers.
